Connect·Students FAQ
Why are there different Christian groups on campus?
Unity in diversity. Each Christian group on campus is unique. You will find that there are many overlaps in our visions and values, and there are also some special differences. We aim to celebrate our uniqueness while maintaining unity.
What’s the difference between you and Christian Union?
Primarily, Every Nation Campus Ministries is a church-based campus ministry whereas Christian Union are an interdenominational Christian group on campus. It’s best to speak to leaders from the respective groups to find out more.
Do you interact with any other student ministries?
Yes. We are part of OnlyOneLife Network– a collaboration of student workers from evangelical churches and student groups across London. Groups presently represented include UCCF (The Christain Unions), Agape, Koinonia, St Helens Bishopsgate, St Mary’s Bryanston Sq, All Souls Church, HTB and many others. We are also an affiliate of Fusion – a church-based ministry fuelling the fires of a national student movement in the UK.
Why pay special attention to students?
In many ways as a student you are living a unique phase of life. You might be experiencing new levels of independence, with all the opportunities and challenges that brings. We want to support you, and help you make excellent choices that will set you up well for life ahead.
What do we offer students?
Aside from the regular chances to explore and grow listed on our Students homepage, we encourage you as a student to get involved in campus life – to join sports teams, clubs and societies. Make relationships, develop yourself and serve your university. Producing plays, driving sports teams and serving free energy drinks to students during exams are some things we’ve done in recent times.
