Outreach·Gent church plant

Members of the Belgium church plant team in Gent

With the declining number of churches in Europe and the rise of secularism and spiritualism, there is a great need for new vibrant churches to bring truth to this continent.

Belgium is commonly known for being the headquarters of the European Union and Nato. With its political and geographical influence, Belgium is a very strategic nation in Europe to plant new churches.

Many people are open to the message of the Gospel during their student years in ways that they are never again. Because of this window of openness amongst the youth we are planting the church in one of the largest student cities in Belgium – Gent, about 60km North West of the capital, Brussels.

With more than 30,000 students in a vibrant economic hub, Gent is the perfect place to reach the youth of Belgium with the gospel of Christ.

The aim is to move to Belgium in the summer of 2010. During the time leading up to this date, we will be focusing on training, building a team and raising the financial resources needed for this church plant.
